College Writing Program

Our college writing program is for college students who need help with any or all stages of the writing process. 

Some of our college writing students simply need help organizing their information into an outline while others need assistance from the very beginning of the process to the completed paper. 

The majority of the college writing sessions we do consist of working with students on papers that have been assigned by their professors. However, we are happy to provide supplemental writing lessons for students looking to hone their skills.

All of LexEd's programs are made to work together. Many of our college writing students worked with us during the college application process, but that is not a requirement. 

What makes this program especially effective is its flexibility.

Students can schedule one-on-one Zoom meetings whenever they need help, making it easy to get support during crunch times or when facing a challenging assignment.

This customizable approach ensures that students receive timely, relevant assistance tailored to their specific needs and writing goals.

Each session is approximately 1 hour long and is taught by a LexEd writing expert.

• Polish their final draft so it’s clear, clean, and ready to submit
   
• Double-check citation styles (MLA, APA, Chicago, etc.) for accuracy
   
• Ensure formatting meets all assignment and instructor requirements
   
• Review assignment guidelines to confirm every box is checked
   
• Catch overlooked errors or inconsistencies before submission

• Meet deadlines by staying organized and on track through the final step

Enrichment and creative writing  invites students to explore the power and joy of writing beyond the limits of academic assignments. Our program helps students:

• Explore a range of forms from poetry and short stories to personal narratives and flash fiction.
