Philosophy
As the director of college advising at a New England preparatory school and as a private college admissions consultant, Rob has a distinct perspective on higher education. He believes college is not so much a crowning achievement as it is a pivotal step on a transformative journey toward adulthood and personal growth.
Goal
Rob's goal is to help students build their confidence, unlock their potential, and find the schools that fit them best as they strive to become the people they aspire to be.
Approach
For the past decade, Rob has been helping students navigate the ever-evolving, often stressful college application process with a personalized 1-1 approach that is designed to inspire and empower them.
Experience & Skills
Before building a career in education and educational consulting, Rob spent more than a dozen years working as an attorney in the field of civil litigation and in management and leadership roles in the real estate industry. Passionate about teaching, he also served as an adjunct professor of Argument & Advocacy and Public Speaking in that time.
These experiences sharpened his analytical reasoning and deepened his appreciation for the power of strategic thinking and impactful communication. He now leverages these skills on a daily basis to help his students develop their application strategy, find their voice, and present themselves in an authentic, compelling manner through their essays, interviews, and all aspects of their college applications.
Education
Rob holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of Virginia School of Law, a Master of Arts in American Studies from the College of William & Mary, and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Communications from Boston College.
