Who It's For

Who It's For

Who It's For

The college admission process places a heavy emphasis on writing, from personal statements to supplemental essays and school-specific prompts.

Our high school writing program is for students in 9th-12th grade at any writing level.

Some students come to us needing to work on basic writing techniques while others are advanced writers looking for enrichment.

How It Works

Who It's For

Who It's For

All of LexEd's programs are made to work together. Many of our students are with us for all four years of high school while also working with us for college advising, and then graduate to our college writing program.

We offer 1-1 instruction as well as small group instruction for students who prefer to work with a friend or classmate.

Our support for school writing assignments provides students targeted guidance on their current writing projects across a range of subjects.

Students can share their writing, whether they’re just starting or almost done, and get feedback on structure, clarity, and content. Our program helps students:

  • Break down assignments into manageable steps, making writing tasks feel more approachable and less overwhelming.

  • Revise with purpose, learning how to identify areas for improvement and refine their work for clarity and impact.

Enrichment & Creative Writing

Enrichment and creative writing  invites students to explore the power and joy of writing beyond the limits of academic assignments. Our program helps students:

  • Experiment with voice, style, and genre through engaging prompts, imaginative exercises, and peer workshops.

  • Explore a range of forms from poetry and short stories to personal narratives and flash fiction.
